BEYOND: Routes to Access

The Ducks were at the BEYOND Conference this week, looking at creative innovation for business at MediaCityUK.Nigel represented the Ducks, speaking about a passion of his in accessibility; specifically the research project through MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub on accessibility within an exhibition space.

Routes to access is a research project explores how adaptive technologies can make in-person immersive experiences more accessible, especially in the creative industries. With input from industry experts, we’ll look to create a toolkit for selecting technologies and a pathway to developing prototypes, turning accessibility into a source of creative innovation.

We’re working with stakeholders, including people with accessibility needs, to find new ways to adapt real-time content for individual users. Your input is key to making this project a success.
