The Gretna Green Experience showcases the history of love and romance. Bringing to life the incredible stories of those who escaped the English borders to marry before their families could catch them. Stories of romance, rebellion and love which date back to 1754 are still being told today.
“This exhibiton really allowed us to step back in time and breathe life into the stories of those who eloped so many years ago. Tales of gun fights, to Anvil Priests marrying the wrong people to each other! We developed 13-audio-visual exhibits across the museum, each bringing to life the hidden stories in Gretna’s unique history.”
